Electricity North West to hold regional stakeholder workshop in Greater Manchester to share decarbonisation plans and strategic investments

Businesses and stakeholders across Greater Manchester are invited to join Electricity North West’s Executive team, stakeholder partners and local authorities at a Regional Stakeholder Workshop. The knowledge-sharing sessions will help the region work together and plan for a low-carbon energy future.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority will share their plans for investing in the region’s long-term economic development and Electricity North West will share details of how they are investing in the region's electricity network in order to support these plans.

The event will encourage strategic understanding by providing the information and support we all need from each other on our journey to a connected network. Discussions will cover:

·       New strategic investments for the region

·       Decarbonisation plans

·       New low carbon technologies and the connections required

·       How information is used and shared in the Electricity North West’s Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) and other plans

Electricity North West also want to hear from businesses as they are invited to share your ideas, experience and insight into how the day’s themes can lead to greater collaboration, partnering and better outcomes for the whole region and inform our business decisions.

They encourage major strategic users, local authority representatives and social housing providers in our region to join us, but of course, all stakeholders are welcome.
