Energy Innovation Agency to host webinar support commercial building owners with energy efficiency

On Wednesday 11 October, Bee Net Zero Partner The Energy Innovation Agency will host a free webinar to support commercial buildings owners tackle the challenge of energy efficiency.

The webinar, ‘Improve the Energy Efficiency Of Your Commercial Buildings” will explore the challenges commercial building owners currently face while providing insight into the latest smart solutions.

The Greater Manchester city-region faces huge challenges in meeting its ambitious 2038 carbon neutral target and decarbonising the commercial real estate sector will play a fundamental part.

The Energy Innovation Agency is a unique organisation, created to support Greater Manchester’s transition to a low-carbon economy by enabling energy innovators to scale and grow their businesses.

Supported by partners from both the public and private sectors, the Agency offers a range of diverse services to businesses to support them in developing, deploying, and delivering their green products and services across Greater Manchester. This webinar is an example of how The Agency can help innovations reach end-users.

 

This webinar will help commercial building owners or landlords, looking to decarbonise with:

·       Improving the energy management, control and efficiency in your buildings

·       Lowering energy costs for you and your tenants

·       Reducing your carbon footprint

·       Enhancing the environment for building and office users

·       Introducing sustainable solutions to your business practices

 

The session will explore key energy challenges faced by commercial property management companies building owners and landlords and look at some of the latest solutions and technologies available to help improve their buildings energy efficiency.

It will also showcase some of the low-carbon innovations currently being tested at The University of Salford’s Energy House Labs. The first is Loxone, a software and hardware solution manufacturer for automation and building management systems with a focus on lighting, heating, energy management, access control.

Next is, BRS Heatpumps a range of air source heat pump solutions which provide space heating and cooling as well as hot water, and which can remove the need for traditional fossil fuel boilers.
