Join Bee Net Zero partners, Green Economy for an insightful networking event discussing the challenges and opportunities around the retrofit of commercial buildings.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Manchester City Council have set a target of being carbon neutral by 2038, with a Greater Manchester carbon budget of 67MtCO2 set between 2018 and 2038.
Commercial buildings contribute significantly to Greater Manchester’s carbon emissions. According to the Manchester Climate Change Framework, 12% of Manchester’s total carbon emissions come from commercial buildings with 48% of commercial emissions from space heating and hot water.
This event will provide a look at retrofit solutions and innovative green technology that can help commercial buildings reduce their carbon emissions.
Architects, interior designers, green tech installers, retrofit installers and those at the front of the retrofit challenge are invited to join the conversation at Windmill Green, 24 Mount Street, Manchester on Tuesday 17 October at 9:30 am.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from a range of expert speakers who are keen to share their experiences and discuss the sustainable retrofit of commercial buildings.
