Introducing Teltonika, a global electronics manufacturing businesses which is bringing its unique EV charging solution to Greater Manchester.
Selling directly to businesses, distributers and developers, the bespoke EV charger is made completely in house and therefore can be modified to suit individual flexible needs.
Teltonika was established in Lithuania in 1998, by a man called Arvydas Paukštys, an electronics engineer. He has built the company with his family to become a global electronics manufacturing business.
The company has offices in 30 countries and employs over 2,500 people worldwide providing a range of products including telematics devices (vehicle and asset tracking/monitoring), computer networking equipment (routers, switches etc.), telemedicine equipment (lung ventilators, smart health watches), electric vehicle chargers and outsourced electronic manufacturing services (EMS).
A recent development has really raised the profile of Teltonika, with the company signing a €14 million technological cooperation agreement with Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), which will help Teltonika to start a semiconductor chip industry in Lithuania.
The company remains family owned and is proud to manufacture and distribute all of its products directly from Lithuania.
As part of a new strategy to invest locally around the world, to offer clients better service and value, Teltonika in 2023 took the step to open a business in the UK.
Since then, it has opened physical premises, choosing Manchester as the home for its UK headquarters.
A new CEO was appointed in July 2024, and the company has been on recruitment drive for product specialists, technical engineers, and operational support personnel, which will continue over the next years.
They aim to have 21 employees by the end of the year, with this jumping to 35-40 in 2025 and 50-60 in 2026.
