Bee Net Zero partner pro-manchester are hosting an unmissable event for energy innovators and Greater Manchester organisations looking to decarbonise their building, or interested in supporting the city-region’s sustainability efforts.
The lunchtime event “Women Led Sustainable Energy Decisions” will bring together women who are spearheading sustainable energy efforts in an industry where women make up only 22% of the workforce.
Sponsored by Unify Energy and Bruntwood UK, the event will bring together Greater Manchester’s innovators, corporations, end-users, and partners to discuss the obstacles of attaining net zero, the green skills gap, and how innovation may help our region to decarbonise.
The event will also include a panel session which will feature leading energy experts from the public and private sectors discussing the importance of green skills and aptitude, as well as diversity within the energy sector. This panel includes Sarah Bateman, CEO of Unify Energy, Hannah Drake, Founder and CEO of Enerlytic and Sarah Merrick Founder and CEO of Ripple.
They will also explore challenges and barriers to decarbonization for Greater Manchester as a whole, as well as at industry and organisational levels, guiding attendees on how low-carbon innovation can support them.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and network with other attendees. Ion to decarbonise.
The event will take place on Tuesday 16 January at 12 pm to 1:30 pm at No 1 Circle Square.
It is free to attend for all interested parties.
