New toolkit launched to simplify sustainability for business

Green Economy and SP Electricity North West launch Sustainable Growth Toolkit with guidance and resources to accelerate decarbonisation.

The Sustainable Growth Toolkit is a new online resource, developed by environmental specialists to help businesses unlock energy savings, navigate compliance and deliver carbon reduction, through a suite of online resources and tools.

The toolkit has been developed by Green Economy’s expert consultants, who have decades of experience working with businesses to develop carbon reduction plans that bring cost and carbon savings. The toolkit also includes guidance on green technology solutions, as well as managing risk associated with climate change.

Katherine Horne, Social DSO Manager at SP Electricity North West said:

“We’re pleased to extend our partnership with Green Economy having already worked with the team on a number of projects including our successful and specialist training programme for local authorities.

“This strategic partnership is focused on helping small and medium-sized enterprises – particularly those most at risk in the energy transition to better understand, prepare for and benefit from the move to a low carbon energy system.”

The Sustainable Growth Toolkit is appropriate for businesses that are just getting started providing guidance on carbon footprinting and a free carbon reduction plan template, as well as for more established businesses that are looking at green technology investment, supply chain compliance and climate risk.

Amy House, Director of Green Economy said:

“Our clients tell us time and again that the biggest barrier to decarbonisation is a lack of reliable information and support. This new toolkit overcomes that challenge, by providing a simple, single platform that businesses can access at no cost.”
